Woodside, CA – Pool Remodel Progress Update

Our Woodside pool renovation is moving smoothly into the next phase. The new raised bond beam and waterline tile have been installed, giving the structure its first finished architectural detail and a preview of the final design aesthetic. With the interior shell prepped and plumbing rough-ins in place, we’re now ready for decking prep and coping installation. This project is a great example of blending structural upgrades with a high-end finish to modernize an older pool while preserving its footprint within a natural, wooded setting. This week marked a major milestone on our Woodside remodel as we moved from coping installation into the new decking phase. After completing excavation adjustments and base prep, we installed and compacted the subgrade, followed by rebar reinforcement and boning wire to ensure proper slab stability and clean control joint placement. With the forms set and layout confirmed, our crew poured and finished the new sand-washed concrete decking, creating a refined architectural surface that ties seamlessly into the pool’s modern design. The sand-washed finish offers the perfect balance of texture, elegance, and slip resistance — a premium detail that complements the custom coping and elevated aesthetic of this project. We recently completed a full backyard transformation in Redwood City featuring a custom-built modern pool and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen pavilion. This project was designed to create a true indoor-outdoor living environment, blending resort-style amenities with clean architectural lines and durable finishes tailored to year-round California use.
